Delhi Driverless Metro Rammed Into Wall 6 Days Before Inauguration : During the trial on Tuesday a driverless Delhi Metro train running on the Magenta line rammed into a wall. After staff failed to check the brakes the train broke through the boundary at Kalindi Kunj depot.
PM supposed to inaugurated Magenta line on 25th of December. it could have been a major mishap that of course has a verdict during a trial ran only. It was a driveless metro which rammed into wall. During trial it went ahead and breaks the wall of Kalindi Kunj Depot.

It will be a automated train not driven by the driver. It will be running on Kalkaji Mandir from Botanical garden line of the Delhi metro to reduce time from Noida to South Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will going to inaugurate this magenta line on 25th of this month. But this mishap clearly shows that perhaps Delhi is still not prepared for driverless Merto.
This incident clearly questioned the authority about the alarming situation showing the laxity. There are many reasons coming in mind after such incident. What is the reason behind this incident? and How it is possible this metro go ahead of stoppers which are suppose to stop such accidents?
According to esteemed news site report DMRC quoted – ” The person who took charge of the train from the maintenance staff also did not check brake and proceeded with the train up to the washing plant built on a ramp. While stopping at the ramp, since the brakes were not available, the train rolled back causing this incident.”
